Network Solutions Domain Transfers
Yes, they will take the fully announced 3!!!! days to get you an EPP code to transfer your domain. Get over it now so you don't have to when you pull the trigger.
Yes, they will take another 3 days to actually transfer your domain once you acknowledge that the transfer is valid (don't forget to login to netsol after they send you their whiny 'are you sure? Here's how to cancel the tranfer' message because it's actually where you acknowledge the transfer as well.
There are some perfectly fine registrars out there. Try this one: www.namecheap.com

Namecheap permission delegation
Namecheap's method for delegating permissions on a domain to other users appears to be very useful, however the naming convention somewhat eludes me.
- If you want to allow modification of ANY of your dns records, you need to add "All Host Records" as the permission.
- If you want to allow moving the NS records off of namecheap or back again, then you want the Edit DNS Entries, and the transfer to/back permissions
